Change Screen Layout

A layout controls how content is displayed on your screen, for example how surfaces are distributed and where different types of content are placed. In PLAYipp, you choose which layout each screen should use, and you can switch to a different layout at any time to better suit your needs.

Layouts are created and managed under Admin and are available in two variants: one tab for landscape and one for portrait. Once you have assigned a layout to your screen, you can publish content to the screen's surfaces via the Overview and playlists.

Change the layout on a screen

1. Go to Signage in the navigation menu.
2. Click on Screens.
3. Select your screen in the tree or list view.
4. Go to the Settings tab for the selected screen.
5. Click Edit next to the Layout heading.
6. Click Change layout.
7. Select the layout you want to activate on the screen. Layouts are divided into a tab for landscape and a tab for portrait.
8. Click Save.

The layout is now available to publish to via the Overview and playlists. The screen will switch to the new layout within a few minutes.
