Why is my screen showing the wrong time?

Our widgets get their time settings from the screen/player configuration.
On Samsung and LG screens, the time must be set directly on the screen; we cannot configure this remotely. Here is a short guide explaining how to configure the time settings for these brands;

Below, we list some common models and how to set the clock on them:

NOTE: Minor discrepancies may occur between screens and different software versions!

Time

LG SM5J (Webos 6) & SM5KE-BJ (Webos 4)

  1. Press the button with a gear icon on the remote control to open the settings menu.
  2. Select "General Settings".
  3. Scroll down to "Time/Date".
  4. Set the time and date.
  5. Press the "Confirm" button to save the settings and return to the main menu.
  6. Close the menu by pressing the "Back" or "Menu" button.
  7. Restart the screen.

Timezone

Incorrect time settings can also be due to the wrong timezone being selected for the screen; below is a setup guide on how to set it.

On LG screens, you must adjust the timezone on the screen using the remote control. Follow these steps:
NOTE: Menus and options may vary slightly depending on firmware and model version.

  3. Turn off "Set Automatically" if it is on.
  4. Select Timezone and set it correctly (e.g., GMT+1 for Sweden).
  5. Confirm with OK.
  6. Restart the screen for the app to update the clock.

  7. When you are done, press exit.
  8. Restart the screen for the app to update the clock.
