Hardware Phase-Out: Screens Reaching End of Support in May 2026
This article is an important notice for PLAYipp partners and customers.
As part of PLAYipp's commitment to a reliable and secure digital signage platform, we are initiating the first phase-out of legacy hardware models. The screens listed below will reach End-of-Support (EOS) status on May 31, 2026, followed by full End-of-Life (EOL) on October 30, 2026.
We encourage all customers and partners using these models to begin planning for migration to supported hardware as soon as possible.

What does this mean for you?
End-of-Support: May 31, 2026
From this date, PLAYipp will no longer issue updates for these screen models. New features and platform updates may not function correctly on these devices. Critical security updates will still be provided during this period, but no other development work will be carried out.
End-of-Life: October 30, 2026
From this date, PLAYipp services will stop functioning entirely on affected devices. All displayed content will be removed and replaced with an end-of-life message. Migration to supported hardware will be required to continue using PLAYipp.
We strongly recommend beginning migration planning now to avoid disruption to your screens and content.

What should you do?
If you are a partner: Review your customers' installed screen models and identify any devices included in the list above. Reach out to your PLAYipp contact to discuss upgrade options, including PLAYport Hardware-as-a-Service.
If you are a customer: Contact your partner or PLAYipp support to understand how this affects your installation and what the best path forward looks like.
