How to delete a screen

Sometimes you need to remove a screen or player from your account. This might be necessary if you are replacing hardware, reorganizing your screen setup, or decommissioning a location.

When you delete a screen, all published content and settings are removed and the screen is no longer active in PLAYipp. If the device is still connected to power and the internet, it will display the activation code again and can be reactivated, either on the same account or a different one.

Delete a screen

1. Go to Signage in the navigation menu.
2. Click on Screens.
3. Select the screen you want to delete in the tree or list view.
4. Go to the Settings tab for the selected screen.
5. Click on Delete screen.
6. A dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the deletion. Check the box to confirm that you want to delete the screen, then click Delete screen.

The screen is now deleted. All content and settings have been removed and the screen is no longer active in PLAYipp. If the device is connected to power and the internet, it will show the activation code and can be reactivated if needed.
