Introducing two AI assistants in PLAYipp

We are launching two new AI assistants in PLAYipp: one for screen management and one for users and user groups. Ask questions in plain language, get answers as tables and charts, and let the assistant make changes for you, always with your approval.

What is new

Getting an overview of your screens and users has often meant clicking through lists, filters and permission pages one at a time. With the new assistants, you simply ask a question, just like you would ask a colleague, and get the answer right away.

Both assistants:

• understand plain language, with no commands to learn
• reply in the language you write in
• show answers as tables, charts, number tiles or lists when that makes them easier to scan
• show an overview with up-to-date figures from your account as soon as you open them
• let you build on a question (for example "only the blocked ones") without starting over
• are built and run by PLAYipp, not by a third-party chatbot vendor

The Screen Management AI Assistant

The Screen Management AI Assistant is built into screen management in PLAYipp Manager and helps you keep track of all your screens.

For example, you can ask:

• "Which of my screens are offline right now?"
• "Show me screens with no license"
• "Who has access to the screen in the Stockholm reception?"
• "List all screens inactive for 45+ days"

The assistant can also show the latest screenshot from a screen or take a fresh one. It can make changes to several screens at once as well: restart, clear cache, add a tag, move to another address, change layout, assign a license and delete screens.

The Users and User Groups AI Assistant

The Users and User Groups AI Assistant is built into the Users and User Groups pages. It helps you understand who your users are, which groups they are in and what they can access, without opening each user's permission page.

For example, you can ask:

• "Which users have never logged in?"
• "Who are our admins?"
• "Does Anna have publish access?"
• "What can the Marketing group access?"

The assistant can also block, unblock and delete users, and invite new users.

No changes without your approval

Before an assistant makes any change, it always shows you a confirmation card listing exactly which screens or users will be affected. Nothing happens until you click Approve.

The assistants never show you more than you already have permission to see in PLAYipp, and never let you do anything you do not already have rights to do.

Who gets access

In the first release, both assistants are available to company admins. Screen admins will get access to the Screen Management AI Assistant in a later update.

Your data stays in the EU

• The language model behind the assistants is hosted in the EU by Berget, a Swedish hosting provider.
• Data used by the assistants is protected to exactly the same standard as all your other data in PLAYipp.
• Your data is never used to train AI models. It is only used to answer your own questions.

AI is always optional

AI features in PLAYipp are entirely optional. If your organization prefers not to use them, an organization admin can turn them off for everyone under Organization settings > General > Allow AI assistants. Both assistants are then hidden for every user in the organization.
