To install PLAYipp software on supported Voxicon screens, follow these steps:
Setup
- Choose language
- Choose country
- Choose a pin for the device (optional)
- In “Signage settings” select the preferred rotation and leave everything else on default
- Click next
- Choose disabled when asked about “Auto launch” mode
- Leave “Display operation mode” settings on their default values
- Click next
- Connect network (wired or wireless)
- Click next
- Accept the “Manufacturer usage & diagnostics” agreement
- Set the OTA mode to enabled
App installation
- Navigate to “Applications”
- Open the “Vewd Browser”
- Navigate to the address bar located at the top of the browser using the remote’s arrow buttons and enter "https://install.playipp.com"
- If the site can't detect the unittype select "Voxicon"
- Select the “Tap OK on your remote to start the download” message by using the cursor navigable with the remote’s arrow buttons
- Choose “Allow” when the “Vewd browser” asks for permission to access photos, media and files on the device
- Choose “Ok” when the download prompt appears
- Back out of the “Vewd browser”
- Then select “AppInstaller” while still being in the “Applications” menu
- Choose “Local Disk”
- Select “Bootstrap”
- Choose “Install”
- Choose “Open”
- Back out of “AppInstaller” after the apps have all finished installing
- Select and launch the app called “Playipp launcher” while still remaining in the “Applications” men
- PLAYipp will now launch!
