Configuration of Network PLAYport HD

Wired connection (Ethernet)

NOTE! If Wi-Fi is activated Ethernet will be turned of on the media player.

  1. Connect the Ethernet cable to the PLAYport
  2. Start the media player.
    If the media player displays 3 green circles when it starts.
    If 3 green circles shows the media player have connection to PLAYipps servers.
  3. If the media player don't have connect after this you need to troubleshoot your connection.

  4. An activation code will be visible or it will start to sync if the unit is already activated. 
    Read the article about Activation code  for information about how you activate the unit with a activation code.

Wireless connection (Wi-Fi)

Wi-Fi needs to be configured on every PLAYport and is easily done with a keyboard

  1. Enter the network manager by connecting a keyboard and pressing F2.
    Verify that the wifi name (SSID) hasn't changed.
    Verify that the correct SSID and password is configured correctly.
    Exit the menu by pressing ESC or save with F5
  2. Enable Wireless
  3. Choose the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect to.
  4. Fill in a password if it is needed
  5. Press F5 to restart the PLAYport
    If 3 green circles appears on the screen when it starts up in Health Status, the media player's network have connection to our servers  
  6. If the media player don't have connect after this you need to troubleshoot your connection.
