Sometimes an integration stops updating its content. This is usually because an authentication token has expired, user permissions have changed, or security settings have been updated. In order for the integration to continue working, you will need to re-authenticate it. This means reconnecting the connection and approving access again.
Follow these steps to re-authenticate an integration
- Click on integrations
- Click on your integrations
- Click on the relevant integration
Locate the integration you want to re-authenticate in the list and click on it.
Here you can see any error messages associated with your integration. If the integration is functioning as it should, there should be no error messages. - Click on "Reauthenticate"
You will see an option to reauthenticate. Click on it and follow the instructions — you may need to log in again to the external service (e.g., Instagram, Google, Microsoft, etc.). - Confirm access
When you are redirected to the external service, approve the permissions requested. - Done!
Once the process is complete, the integration will be updated and active again.
Tip: If the re-authentication fails, check that you have the correct permissions in the external service or contact your IT administrator.
