Installation of PLAYport HD
1. Plug in your PLAYport media player. The player needs to be connected to the screen via HDMI and a power source. If you choose to have a wired network connection, plug the network cable into the player now and proceed to activate the display here: Activate signage screen  2. Configure wireless network You now need to configure the wireless network. To do this, you need to start Network manager. You do this by connecting a keyboard to the media player's USB input and clicking F2 on the keyboard. 3. Select Wireless. (To navigate the menus, use Tab, the arrow keys and Enter. 4. Select the network. Select the network you want to connect to by highlighting the SSID and clicking enter. 5. Enter password Go down to password and enter the password if required on the network. 6. Save the settings Press F5 on the keyboard to save and exit Network manager. The media player will now restart and connect to the network. Installation of LG WebOS 6.0
First you need to verify which screen you have to find the correct guide. You can find a list with all the supported screens here. Before installing your screen with the PLAYipp software, you must first set the correct network and time for the screen. This needs to be done in order for the media player to authenticate correctly to our server and be able to download files. Install the PLAYipp app: 1. Start the screen. 2. Choose quick start 3. Accept the User agreement. 4. Choose Language, Continent and country 5. Connect to a network 6. Set the screen rotation, set whether it should be in landscape or portrait mode depending on how the screen is mounted. Click on go to settings. 7. Choose Settings > Ez-settings > SI-servers settings > SI-servers settings 8. Choose SI server settings. 9. Enter the following settings: Fully qualified domain name = ON Enter: https://lg.playipp.com/app.ipk Application launch mode = Local Application type = ipk 10. Choose Local application upgrade = remote 11. Confirm the app update 12. Press Ok when the update is complete 13. Reboot the screen 14. Connect to Network If Ethernet is to be used, plug the cable into the monitor and verify that the monitor is connected to the network (You can verify that the monitor is connected from the menu settings > general > Network) To connect to Wi-Fi 1. Go to Settings > General > Network > Wi-Fi connection 2. Select the Network 3. Enter password (if needed) 4. Click Connect 5. Once the display is connected, you can proceed to the next step 6. Select settings > Ez setting > SI-Server setting > SI-Server setting 7. Enter the following settings: Application Launch Mode = Local Fully Qualified Domain Name = ON Enter: https://lg.playipp.com/app.ipk Application type = ipk 8. Select Local Application Upgrade and change to Remote 9. Confirm the app update 10. Press OK when the app update is completed 11. Reboot the screen. If the media player is activated in the PLAYipp manager the content will be downloaded and then displayed on the screen. Installation of Samsung SSSP11
This guide shows step by step how to install a Samsung SSSP11 screen. 1. Choose language 2. Set up internet connection 3. Accept terms and conditions of the “Smart Signage Privacy Notice” 4. Choose manual setup 5. Choose the orientation of your display (Important, cannot be changed by the app) 6. Select custom app 7. Click right 8. Enter "https://install.playipp.com" NOTE: Only lowercase letters!  9. Skip the RM server setup 10. Set auto power setting to off. 11. Set current time and date 12. Set a pin or skip 13. Click home on the remote and start Custom app 14. PLAYipp app will now install and start automatically When the software has started the activation code will be displayed on the screen. Turn off Auto Power Off 5. Connect to a wireless or wired network. 6. Choose play via URL-launcher. If you do not find the URL launcher, follow these steps: - Select System menu. - Select Play via. - Select URL Launcher Settings. 7. Enter the URL "https://samsung.playipp.com" NOTE: Only lowercase letters!  8. Choose skip. 9. Set the date and time 10. Click on home and select URL-Launcher 11. The PLAYipp software is installed and updated. 12. Turn off the screen and click mute 182 power on 13. Navigate to: Control > Sub Option.  14. Activate the option “Fast Boot in Production”. 15. Enter the URL: https://samsung.playipp.com NOTE: Only lowercase letters!  8. You can name the media player if you want it it to have a specific name in the network. Otherwise go forward with the default name. 9. Start the URL-Launcher 10. The PLAYipp software is installed and updated. Install Playin Samsung after Quickstart
If you have unpacked the screen and are going to install it for the first time, follow this installation guide instead: Installation of Samsung SSSP6 , SSSP10 , SSSP11  -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------- Installa Samsung SSSP after Quickstart: 1. Click "Menu" on the remote control. 2. Select system. 3. Scroll down until you find "Play via" 4. Select "URL Launcher" (SSSP6) or "Custom App" (SSSP10 and later) depending on the screen model. 5. Close the menu. 6. Press Home and select "URL Launcher Settings"/"App Management" 7. Select "Install Custom App" and enter https://install.playipp.com 8. Follow the installation guide, (if you run into problems here, check your screen's network, clock and spelling on the link to make sure they are correct.) 9. Press the Menu button on the remote control again and choose to start play from there or restart the screen. Congratulations, you have now installed Playipp on your Samsung screen. Automatic update of time and date for Samsung screens.
On the remote there is a button called menu, when you press it you should see this: 1. Select system: 2. Select Time: 3. Select NTP Settings: 4. Activate NTP(Network Time Protocol) 5. Select ServerURL and input: pool.ntp.org 6. Choose your preferred timezone. 7. Save and press return to close the menu. Now the screen should correct the time and date when it is connected to the internet.

Philips

Installation of Philips 4650D
To install PLAYipp software on Philips screens, you need to follow these steps: 1. Start the screen and choose your preferred language. 2. Choose “Skip” when asked to “Clone Media Flies from USB”. 3. Choose “Skip” on the Signage Display settings page. 4. Customize Security Settings options or skip this step. 5. Select the preferred network type and connect the screen to your desired network. 6. Click Finish 7. Press the Home button and then 1 + 8 + 8 + 8 on your remote. Now choose Apps 8. Open the Chromium app. 9. Enter the web address https://install.playipp.com/ into the on-screen browser. The website can detect the device type automatically for most of our supported models, but if this fails, a list of possible device types will be displayed instead and you will be able to select the correct device type manually. 10. Press OK on your remote control to start the download. To shift the focus to the text prompt, you need to press the Adjust button once. The text "Tap OK on your remote ..." will now start flashing on the screen to indicate that the focus is correct. 11. Chromium may ask for permission to download files from the site. Choose “Download anyway” to continue with the download. 12. Use the back button on your remote to close your browser and to return to the Apps menu. Choose File manager. 13. Choose Internal. 14. Open the Download folder 15. Select and open the file “com.playipp.bootstrap...”. 16. You may need to enable the option labeled “Unknown sources” before opening the app. This setting can be found in Settings > Security > Unknown sources 17. Go back to the filemanager and start the app again. Confirm the installation by selecting Install. 18. Select Open after the initial installation is completed. 19. The app will now download and install additional content. 20. Use the back button on your remote to return back main menu when the installation is completed. 21. Open the Settings menu. 22. Open Signage display. 23. Open Source settings. 24. Select Custom app. 25. Select PLAYippLauncher and then Save to confirm your selection. 26. Press the Home button on your remote and open the Advanced Option section, navigate to Power save and make sure Mode 3 is selected. 27. Use the back button on your remote to exit the menu. 28. Now press the Source button on your remote and select Custom. 29. PLAYipp will now launch! Installation of Philips 4150D & 4051D
To install PLAYipp software on Philips screens, you need to follow these steps: 1. Launch the screen and select the language. 2. Select network type and connect to the network.   3. Select the “skip” on the Signage screen settings page. 4. Select the “skip” option on the Clone Media Flies to Internal page. 5. Congratulations! You can now choose to end the first guide. 6. Press the Home button and then 1 + 8 + 8 + 8 on the remote control. 7. Select Apps and then Chromium. 8. Then enter the web address https://philips.playipp.com/ in the on-screen browser. 9. The website (https://philips.playipp.com/) can detect device type automatically for most models, otherwise a list of possible device types will be displayed where you can select the device type yourself. The website can for example not differentiate between Philips 4150D and 4051D, where the two alternative models are displayed and you get to choose between these two. For other 'unknown' devices, other possible models with built-in players from Philips are shown. To select an option, use the number buttons on the remote control. 10.   Press OK on your remote control to start the download. To shift the focus to the text, you need to press the Adjust button once. The text "Tap OK on your remote ..." will now start flashing on the screen to indicate that the focus is correct. 11. Press the OK button to download our app. 12. Chromium may ask for your permission to download files from this site. Select “OK” to continue the download. 13. A pop-up box will appear at the bottom of the screen where you need to accept the download of the app. Press the Download button. To focus on the OK Button, you first need to go back one step in the browser. Use the Back button on the remote control. Then press the down arrow button until the focus is on cancel, then the right arrow key to move the focus to the Download button. Press OK to continue. 14.   Use the return-button on the remote to close your browser.  15. Select Homescreen 16. Enter the numbers 1-8-8-8 17. Select Storage 18. Select Internal 19. Select Download 20. Select Open file “com.playipp.bootstrap” 21. Confirm installation by clicking on "open".  22. A new popup box will appear where you will need to confirm the installation of the app by clicking on "Install" down to your right.  23. Now the PLAYipp app will start download and install the apps.  24. When the installation is complete, you will return to the file manager. 25. Use the Back button on the remote control to close the file manager. 26. Select settings in the menu, select Signage screen, select Custom App, select Select app, select PLAYippLauncher and then click Save. 27. Click the Source button on the remote control and select Custom. 28. Set power save mode. Select Home on the remote control, then Advanced selection, then select Power save mode and select Mode 3. 29. Use the Back button on the remote control to close the settings. 30. If the media player is activated in PLAYipp, the content to be displayed will be downloaded and then displayed on the screen. If it is not activated in PLAYipp, the activation code is displayed on the screen.
Installation of Philips 4551T
To install PLAYipp software on Philips screens, you need to follow these steps: 1. Launch the screen and select the language. 2. Select options for securityoptions or skip this step. 3. Select the network type and connect to the network. 4. Select the “skip” on the Signage screen settings page. 5. Select the “skip” option on the Clone Media Flies to Internal page. 6. You can now choose to end this first installation part.  7. Open the settings for android.  8. Press the power button (the round button on the backside of the screen, in the top right corner) + the button for lower volym on the backside of the screen. (Standard password is 1234) 9. Select Apps. 10. Select Chromium. 11. Go to https://philips.playipp.com/ in the screen browser. 12. Select device type. On some devices, the screen itself can detect the right type of device. 13. Press to download our launch-app. You need to confirm that Chromium is allowed to storage and to install files. Once you have done this you can simply click open when the app has been downloaded.  14. Now you can return to the mainmenu. 15. Select Storage. 16. Select Internal. 17. Selec download.  18. Open file “com.playipp.bootstrap”. 19. Confirm the installation by pressing "open". 20. A new popup-box will show, confirm installation by clicking on Install on the bottom right.  21. Now the launching app will start download and install PLAYipp software.  22. Select settings in the menu, select Signage screen, select Custom App, select Select app, select PLAYippLauncher and then click Save. 23. Restart the screen to launch the app.  24. If the media player is activated in PLAYipp, the content to be displayed will be downloaded and then displayed on the screen. If it is not activated in PLAYipp, the activation code is displayed on the screen.
Installation of Philips 4550D & 3550Q
To install PLAYipp software on Philips screens, you need to follow these steps: 1. Launch the screen and select the language. 2. Choose skip when asked to clone mediafiles. 3. Choose skip on the Signage screen settings page. 4. Select options for security settings or skip this step. 5. Select the network type and connect to the network. 6. Congratulations! You can now choose to exit the first wizard.   7. Click the Home button and then 1 + 8 + 8 + 8 on the remote control. A menu will appear. Select Apps 8. Select Chromium. 9. Then enter the web address https://philips.playipp.com/ In Chromium The website (https://philips.playipp.com/) can detect device type automatically for most models, otherwise a list of possible device types will be displayed where you can select the device type yourself. The website can for example not differentiate between Philips 4150D and 4051D, where the two alternative models are displayed and you get to choose between these two. For other 'unknown' devices, other possible models with built-in players from Philips are shown. To select an option, use the number buttons on the remote control. 10. Use the Back button on the remote control to and go back to the main menu 22. Click on settings 23. Click on signage screen 24. Click on source settings 25. Click on custom app 26. Click on choose app 27. Select PLAYippLauncher and then click Save. 28. Set power save mode. Click Home on the remote control, then advanced selection, then select Power save mode and select Mode 3. 29. Use the Back button on the remote control to close the settings. 30. Click the Source button on the remote control and select Custom. 31. If the media player is activated in PLAYipp, the content to be displayed will be downloaded and then displayed on the screen. If it is not activated in PLAYipp, the activation code  is displayed on the screen.

To install PLAYipp software on Philips screens, you need to follow these steps: 1. Launch the screen and select the language. 2. Select the network type and connect to the network. 3. Select the “skip” on the Signage screen settings page. 4. Select the “skip” option on the Clone Media Flies to Internal page. 5. You can now choose to end this first installation part.  6. Open the settings for android.  7. Press the power button (the round button on the backside of the screen, in the top right corner) + the button for lower volym on the backside of the screen. (Standard password is 1234) 8. Select Apps. 9. Select Chromium. 10. Go to https://philips.playipp.com/ in the screen browser. 11. Now you can return to the mainmenu.  12. Select Apps. 13. Select File Manager. 14. Select Storage. 15. Select Emulated. 16. Select 0. 17. Select Download. 18. Open the file “com.playipp.bootstrap”. 19. A new popup-box will show, confirm installation by clicking on Install on the bottom right. 20. Tryck meddelandet för att ladda ned vår uppstarts-app. 21. Select settings in the menu, select Signage screen, select Custom App, select Select app, select PLAYippLauncher and then click Save. 26. Select settings, select apps, click on PLAYippLauncher, choose permissions and Activate storage. 27. Select settings, select Signage Display, select Boot on Source, select input and select Custom App. 28.  Select settings, select Signage Display, select SICP Network Port Toggle Enable.   1. Restart the screen to launch the app. 2. If the media player is activated in PLAYipp, the content to be displayed will be downloaded and then displayed on the screen. If it is not activated in PLAYipp, the activation code is displayed on the screen.
Installation of Philips 3650Q
To install PLAYipp software on Philip 3650Q screen, follow these steps: 1. Start the screen and choose your preferred language. 2. Choose “Skip” when asked to Clone Media Flies from USB. 3. Choose “Skip” on the Signage Display settings page. 4. Under Security Settings, Make sure the box titled Unknown Sources Installation is checked and click next 5. Select the preferred network type and connect the screen to your desired network. 6. Select Finish 7. Press "Home 1888" on your remote quickly 8. Choose Apps and then open the Chromium app. 9. Switch focus to the address bar using the adjust and arrow buttons 10. Enter “https://install.playipp.com” in the adress bar. To shift the focus to the adress bar, you need to press the Adjust button. 11. The website can detect the device type automatically for most of our supported models, but if this fails, a list of possible devices will be displayed instead, and you will be able to select the correct device type manually. To select a device type, press the corresponding number button on your remote. 12. Shift the focus to the text prompt, you need to press the Adjust button once. The text "Tap OK on your remote ..." will now start flashing on the screen to indicate that the focus is correct. 13. Press OK on your remote control to start the download. 14. Chromium may ask for permission to download files from the site. Choose “Continue anyway” to continue with the download. 15. Before proceeding with the installation, if not already done during step 4, you may be required to enable the security option labeled “Unknown sources”. This setting can be found in Settings > Security > Unknown sources 16. Use the return button on your remote to close your browser and to return to the Apps menu. 17. Choose File manager. 18. Choose Internal. 19. Open the Download folder 20. Select and open the file “com.playipp.bootstrap...”. 21. A new popup box will appear, confirm the installation by selecting Install. 22. Select Open after the initial installation is completed. 23. The app will now download and install additional content. 24. Use the Return button on your remote to return to the main menu when the installation completed. 25. Open the Settings menu. 26. Choose Signage display. 27. Open Source settings. 28. Open android source 29. Select Custom app. 30. Choose Select app. 31. Select PLAYippLauncher and then Save to confirm your selection. 32. Press the Home button on your remote and open the Advanced Option section, navigate to Power save and make sure Mode 3 is selected. 33. Use the Return button on your remote to exit the menu. 34. Installation of Philips 4151T & 4051T
To install PLAYipp software on Philips screens, you need to follow these steps: 1. Launch the screen and select the language. 2. Select the network type and connect to the network. 3. Select the “skip” on the Signage screen settings page. 4. Select the “skip” option on the Clone Media Flies to Internal page. 5. You can now choose to end this first installation part.  6. Open the settings for android.  7. Press the power button (the round button on the backside of the screen, in the top right corner) + the button for lower volym on the backside of the screen. (Standard password is 1234) 8. Select Apps. 9. Select Chromium. 10. Go to https://philips.playipp.com/ in the screen browser. 11. Select device type. On some devices, the screen itself can detect the right type of device. 12. Press to download our launch-app. 13. Now you can return to the mainmenu. 14. Select storage. 15. Select Internal. 16. Select download. 17. Open file “com.playipp.bootstrap”. 18. Confirm the installation by pressing "open". 19. A new popup-box will show, confirm installation by clicking on Install on the bottom right.  20. Now the launching app will start download and install PLAYipp software.  21. Select settings in the menu, select Signage screen, select Custom App, select Select app, select PLAYippLauncher and then click Save. 22. Select Settings, choose Apps, click on PLAYippLauncher, select premissions and Activate storage. 23. Restart the screen to launch the app.  24. If the media player is activated in PLAYipp, the content to be displayed will be downloaded and then displayed on the screen. If it is not activated in PLAYipp, the activation code is displayed on the screen.

Installation of Airtame 2
Follow these steps to install PLAYipp Digital Signage onto your screen from Airtame. For PLAYipp to work properly, it is important that the player is set to display content in landscape mode in the Airtame cloud. 1. Set up your Airtame 2 by following the instructions on Airtame's homepage 2. Open up your Airtame 2 control panel from your computer 3. Change Home screen overlay to None (or Minimal, depending on preference) 4. Change Home screen background to the Website and fill in the address https://airtame.playipp.com then press Apply Changes 5. The player will now show an activation code, Activate signage screen 
Installation of Vestel
Choose to install the screen with either only the remote control or you can also connect a keyboard to be able to select and key in data more quickly. Firmware V7.97.0.0 or later is required to install the app. The version is visible under: home screen > signage settings > device info > software version. If you need to update the software, contact b2bsupport@vestel.com.tr 1. Choose the preferred language 2. Choose your country  3. Choose a pin for the device (optional) 4. In “Signage settings” select the preferred orientation and leave everything else on default 5. Leave “Auto launch” on disabled 6. Leave “Display operation mode” settings on their default values 7. Connect to your preferred network type 8. Accept the “Manufacturer usage & diagnostics” agreement. 9. Press menu on the remote and navigate to System settings 10. Go to date / time 11. Set your timezone or date and time 12. Go back to and open aplications 13. Open “Vewd Browser” application 14. Navigate up to the address bar and enter "https://vestel.playipp.com" 15. Tap Ok on your remote to start the download 16. Choose “Allow” when the “Vewd browser” asks for permission to access photos, media and files on the device 17. Back out of the “Vewd browser” 18. Then select “AppInstaller” while still being in the “Applications” menu 19. Choose “Local Disk”   20. Select “bootstrap” 21. Choose “Install” 22. Choose “Open” 23. Back out of “AppInstaller” after the apps have all finished installing. 24. Select and launch the app called “Playipp launcher” while still remaining in the “Applications” menu 25. All done! The app will now launch and install any pending updates. 26. At startup the screen will display three green circles if the player have an internet connection. To install PLAYipp software on supported Voxicon screens, follow these steps: Setup 1. Choose language 2. Choose country 3. Choose a pin for the device (optional) 4. In “Signage settings” select the preferred rotation and leave everything else on default 5. Click next 6. Choose disabled when asked about “Auto launch” mode 7. Leave “Display operation mode” settings on their default values 8. Click next 9. Connect network (wired or wireless) 10. Click next 11. Accept the “Manufacturer usage & diagnostics” agreement 12. Set the OTA mode to enabled App installation 1. Navigate to “Applications” 2. Open the “Vewd Browser” 3. Navigate to the address bar located at the top of the browser using the remote’s arrow buttons and enter "https://install.playipp.com" 4. If the site can't detect the unittype select "Voxicon"  5. Select the “Tap OK on your remote to start the download” message by using the cursor navigable with the remote’s arrow buttons 6. Choose “Allow” when the “Vewd browser” asks for permission to access photos, media and files on the device 7. Choose “Ok” when the download prompt appears 8. Back out of the “Vewd browser” 9. Then select “AppInstaller” while still being in the “Applications” menu 10. Choose “Local Disk” 11. Select “Bootstrap” 12. Choose “Install” 13. Choose “Open” 14. Back out of “AppInstaller” after the apps have all finished installing 15. Select and launch the app called “Playipp launcher” while still remaining in the “Applications” men 16.
